Márton Szuhay

We play with the lights and the shadows. When we mixed that with other installations the result is a very mystic atmosphere... (Indoor and outdoor projection also.) We cannot separate our light-painting activities from our installations – we often create the scene for painting on.

About me

The Labor group was originally formed by independent artists, students, creators who developed and organised the Labor Experimental Cultural Space in 2007, in Pécs, Hungary. With voluntary work their free time, they turned an unused high-voltage laboratory building into a blooming venue of numerous and various events, such as exhibitions, concerts, workshops, conferences, art / artistic performances etc.  Labor was (and still is) located in the heart of the Zsolnay Porcelain Manufactory area.

  • Throughout their activities, the "laborants" naturally got to know and co-operated with other groups from the city and the region/country and also worked with several international fellows active in the field of culture.
  • Because of the project-based working methods and the unbalanced financial background, the need of a legal body started to emerge. Therefore, in February 2009, Labor Social Co-operative was founded, with the aim of giving possibilities to young people for self-realisation,  helping its members to  sustainable circumstances in their work and life.

I am interested in a coopertaion with
