Artist and photographer, interested in a visual as well as theoretical research about urban transformation processes.

About me

*1976 in Frankfurt/Main, Germany
I'm a photographer working in the field of fine arts and documentary photography and in between. I'm especially  interested in transformation processes of urban space, mostly focussing on peripheral, overseen and left places. 
I realized several projects in Eastern Europe, last time in 2008 due to an invitation to work about an abandoned fabric in Brno, Czech Republic.
I'm part of Theorie & Parxis e.V., a group of theoreticians & artists and I work with Theater Arbeit Duisburg i.a. as a theatre photographer. I m a member of Pixelprojekt Ruhrgebiet, a digital photography collection as a regional memory. I curated the exhibition "Lokal Harmonie Bosporus", Duisburger Akzente 2009.

Interdisciplinary projects in Duisburg and around, since 2003 numerous exhibitions, so in Germany, Poland, United States, Estonia, France, Italy  and Kazakhstan

I am interested in a cooperation with photographers, artists, curators as well as theoreticians, interested in exploring the borders of urban space.
