Festival "European Accents in Perm"

For the first time, the international art festival “European Accents in Perm”, will come to Perm in August 2010 for four days. It will be the highlight of the project, the platform to show and see the four best practice projects from Duisburg and Pecs as well as up to eight cooperation projects of artists from Russia, Germany and Hungary. The innovative cooperations are in the field of theatre, music, media and visual art or interdisciplinary, and they are developed in close exchange with citizens and exposition with public space
The results of the cooperations do not have to be massive productions, it is an objective that audience is given the chance to experience processes of artistic work or new forms that differ from conventional forms of theatre, music or exhibitions. The presentations the audience will see and discuss depend on what is going to happen within the project cooperation.
The idea of the festival is to then go on the streets of Perm city and to perform and present in public space or on open air stages. This gives the public the opportunity to get into a more direct, eye-to-eye contact with the performers. Meetings and discussions with the audience after the performances will be organized.
Presentation of the coproductions in Pécs and Duisburg
The results of the bi- or trinational artistic projects international will be also presented in Duisburg and Pécs in autumn 2010 within the frame of the Capital of Culture 2010.

Russian-German vocal ensemble "Junge Stimmen"
For those who still believe in the curative force of music, who still love it - so different, timeless, who are ready to listen to it and play it... Vocal ensemble «Junge Stimmen» plays spiritual creations of Austrian, German, Russian composers, including different styles: classical music, sacred songs, folk, blues, jazz, romances, etc. Vocal ensemble "Junge Stimmen" started its active creative activity in 1996: performs on different concert grounds of Perm and Perm region (Organ Hall, the Palace of Culture named after Soldatov, German reference room in Gorky library, etc.); holds charity concerts; gives performances for church members of Lutheran and Catholic churches in Perm. Zengő
With my group Zengő I seek relevant contemporary forms for the treasures of traditional music. The interpolation of the dynamic, tight-knit rhythms and the dense sound of this musical world into contemporary sound proves an exciting challenge. The appearance of the dance inserts in the musical pieces bears witness to the high level of this culture and its timeliness for the modern stage. The group, in which I am a member, was founded in 1983, has appeared many times on radio and TV, produced five records. Read more
